Better for Your Heart - Oatmeal Raisin Cookies - Low Fat

"After finding a recipe in Cooking Light for a Lowfat Chocolate Chip Cookie - I decided to try and see if I could use the same concept with Oatmeal Raisin Cookies - it was a success! I've also made these using spelt flour and they were just as yummy!!"

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In large bowl, Combine oil, honey, sugars, extracts and egg whites.
  • In second bowl, combine flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
  • Add dry to wet and combine.
  • Add in raisins.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoons onto silpat lined baking sheets.
  • Bake 8 minutes.
