Best Peanut Butter Frosting

- 1 cup peanut butter (not natural the results will not be the same)
- 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1⁄2 - 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 pinch salt
directions
- Beat the peanut butter and butter together for 2 to 3 minutes at medium to med. high speed.
- Add vanilla, 1 1/2 C powdered sugar, and salt and beat an additional 3 to 5 minutes on medium speed. Start slowly or you'll have powdered sugar everywhere.
- Frosting will be thick. Add more powdered sugar if you would like it more stiff and a little milk if you need to loosen it up a little.
- Try not to eat the whole thing before frosting brownies, cupcakes, cakes, etc.

I am a teacher by day and a cook whenever I get the chance! I thoroughly enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. I have only a few things people expect to see at certain times of the year. Most of my friends know that if they want to have something again they had better request it because I am probably planning to try something new!
Desserts are what I enjoy cooking the most! I find that baking is relaxing for me as well as therapeutic at times! A long weekend or a strong source of frustration undoubtedly means two or three goodies showing up in the teacher’s lounge!
