wonderful cocktail- so easy! I use the "lakewood" fresh pressed premium cranberry juice -- 100% all natural juice- the best-- a must for the perfect delish cosmo!

ingredients

²⁄₃ cup premium vodka
¹⁄₃ cup cranberry juice
1 teaspoon lime juice

directions

Mix the above in a shaker over ice then shake shake shake!
Pour into a chilled large martini glass.
Garnish with a lime slice.

I really like cosmos, but had never made my own. For my tastes it was way too much vodka though. I had to add a lot more cranberry juice. Without it I felt like I was drinking vodka with a splash of cranberry. I really enjoyed it though after adding more cranberry. Thanks for posting!

I am not much of a drinker and that is mainly because I don't actually like the taste of alcohol. So, I am often looking for cocktail recipes that taste good but don't actually taste much like booze. This one just about did it for my booze wimp tastebuds. You can still taste the booze but the sweetness of the cranberry juice and the lime mask it enough to allow me to enjoy both the taste and the effects of the drink. Made for Pick A Chef Fall 08.
