  • Put partly frozen chicken in a crock pot. Pour about 8 oz of ginger ale over the chicken. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Remove chicken, dispose of liquid. Replace chicken and shred with 2 forks. Pour your favorite Barbeque Sauce over the chicken and cook on low for another 2-4 hours. The chicken will soak up quite a bit of sauce. Serve over Hamburger buns. Warms up very well too.

  1. This was really easy and good to make. I would add more ginger ale if it doesnt cover the chicken to keep it more tender, because in the end you are disposing of the ginger ale anyway.

  4. I was a little put off by this at first, I thought umm ginger ale this is odd. But was I wrong!!! This recipe is so easy to do and the chicken was GREAT. It was so tender and Yummy. Thanks so much for posting. This will be going into my dinner plans once or twice a month!!!
