Apple Cinnamon Balls No Bake Cookies

"These were a big hit for christmas. I don't recall how many they made I'm thinking 40. These are moist little morsels of nuts flavored with apple and buttershots liqueur. These are better as they sit in an air tight container."

  1. THe taste was wonderful!! My guests went home with the recipe and a couple of helpful hints... I too had difficulty making them into balls. I finally added more wafer crumbs until the consistancy was correct. I used about 1 and 1/3 boxes of wafers, much more than the 3c the recipe called for. But all of the effort was worth it!!! A big hit of the party! Thanks!

  2. These turned out great, although I had a little trouble making them. The "dough" turned out too soft to make into balls, so I put it in the frig for a while to harden a bit. Then, after rolling the balls in the sugar-cinnamon, I left them sit out all night to harden a bit more. I used Pucker's Sour Apple liqeur, since that's what I had in the house. These are really yummy! Thanks for the recipe, Rita.

  3. This year I am trying many spiked balls these are a good spiked ball, that doesn’t have an over powering alcohol presents, the apple is not over powering and next time I think that I would use a little more apple and a little less butterscotch other then that I followed the recipe. I also made these with peach schnapps and rolled them with pecans, I liked these just as much like eating a little spiked peach cobbler. Thanks for the recipe I think next I will try pineapple rolling it in brown sugar and see if it tastes like a pineapple upside down cake.
