THe taste was wonderful!! My guests went home with the recipe and a couple of helpful hints... I too had difficulty making them into balls. I finally added more wafer crumbs until the consistancy was correct. I used about 1 and 1/3 boxes of wafers, much more than the 3c the recipe called for. But all of the effort was worth it!!! A big hit of the party! Thanks!

These turned out great, although I had a little trouble making them. The "dough" turned out too soft to make into balls, so I put it in the frig for a while to harden a bit. Then, after rolling the balls in the sugar-cinnamon, I left them sit out all night to harden a bit more. I used Pucker's Sour Apple liqeur, since that's what I had in the house. These are really yummy! Thanks for the recipe, Rita.

This year I am trying many spiked balls these are a good spiked ball, that doesn’t have an over powering alcohol presents, the apple is not over powering and next time I think that I would use a little more apple and a little less butterscotch other then that I followed the recipe. I also made these with peach schnapps and rolled them with pecans, I liked these just as much like eating a little spiked peach cobbler. Thanks for the recipe I think next I will try pineapple rolling it in brown sugar and see if it tastes like a pineapple upside down cake.
