ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1⁄2 cup apple butter
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup (light colored)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
directions
- In a small saucepan, combine tomato sauce, apple butter, corn syrup, and Worcestershire. Bring to boil, then remove from heat.
- Brush meat with sauce during last 10 minutes of grilling.

This was very unique and very delicious on grilled pork chops. I used homemade apple-butter, and made the sauce a day ahead without heating it (just blended and refrigerated). We brushed it on the chops as a mop sauce during cooking, and added more as a dipping sauce while eating. This is great stuff and definitely a keeper recipe. Thanks again loof, for another great recipe! :)

Very, very nice! I'd made some apple butter last week so used some of that in this recipe! Followed it closely & was most pleased with the resulting sauce! Had it on a couple of pork chops & served it (believe it or not) cut in half,along with 2 large chicken breasts (marinated in another recipe) so that the 4 of us at the table could have a bit of each!
