A Peanut Vinaigrette

"yummmm this very tasty. The original recipe (from everyday living) called for 3 table spoons of vegetable oil...but I used rice wine... and the pepper was suppose to be black pepper but I used red pepper flakes.. good and low fat"

  1. I'm sorry to say I really didn't like this. I made it three times to try to get it "right". The first time exactly as written, and it tasted really bitter. I looked at the recipe again and throught, "Vinaigrette" maybe I'll try rice wine vinigar. A little better but still not good. I know everyone's taste buds are subjective. The third time I wanted to get some sweetness in there, so I used 2 Tsp peanut butter/ 1 Tsp peanuts, added 1/4 cup sugar and used oil instead of the rice wine. Much better. Sorry Roza. :( Made for Zaar Chef Alphabet Soup game.

  2. This was so simple and great! It definately had a distinct taste with the rice wine. I liked the taste, but if you want it more mild, I would mix some of the wine with oil. Thanks for posting this! Renita
