• Yields: 1 loaf

ingredients

• 7⁄8 cup buttermilk
• 1 egg white
• 1 teaspoon lecithin powder (optional)
• 1 2⁄3 cups whole wheat flour
• 1 cup bread flour
• 3 teaspoons yeast
• 1 cup cornmeal
• 1⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
• 1⁄3 cup dry roasted sunflower seeds
• 1 1⁄2 tablespoons applesauce (butter)
• 3 tablespoons molasses

directions

1. mix all the ingredients into a dough and let rise.
2. form into a flat round loaf about 1 inch thick.
3. bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
