"This is good all on its own or as a side dish! Its a very simple recipe because the yellow split peas already have a great flavor to them."

  • Put all the ingredients into the pressure cooker, making the chicken stock reach about 1 1/2 inches above the peas, depending on how thick u like the soup.
  • After the pressure cooker begins to whistle, let it boil for 15 minutes then shut it off.
  • Enjoy!

  1. 4 1/2 stars this tastes good. DH said there was a taste in it he didn't love but it could have been the chicken stock I used. Made for Ramadan Tag 2010.
