ingredients
- 8 ounces sausage
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 4 ounces wild rice mix (Uncle Ben's including the seasoning packet)
- 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
- 3⁄4 teaspoon dried sage (omit if using seasoned sausage)
- 1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 cup chopped pecans
directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Prepare rice according to package directions.
- Brown sausage and remove from pan.
- Saute onions and celery until tender.
- Combine all ingredients except the pecans.
- Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole.
- Sprinkle the casserole with the chopped pecans.
- Refrigerate until ready to cook
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
