I used the sauce with my own pizza dough recipe. It was thick and delicious. I added 1 tsp. of sugar.

  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.
  2. Let stand 5 minutes Stir in oil, flours and salt with bread hooks on mixer.
  3. Add about 1 cup additional unbleached flour.
  4. Work into dough.
  5. Grease pan and sprinkle with cornmeal Let raise 1 hour.
  6. Top with Sauce and bake at 450.
  7. Pizza Sauce: Saute onions in oil until onions are clear. Add remaining ingredients.
  8. Simmer for 10- 20 minutes.
