- 12 ounces firm tofu
- 15 ounces canned chick-peas
- 1⁄2 cup apricot
- 1⁄2 cup grapes
- 1⁄4 cup prune
- 1 medium onion
- 1⁄4 cup slivered almonds
- 3 figs
- 1⁄2 teaspoon saffron thread
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons flour
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1⁄4 cup sugar-free syrup
- 1 teaspoon poppy seed
directions
- Cook tofu with fruit and onions.
- Add almonds, figs, and saffron.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Remove tofu and fruit, whisk flour into the pan. Simmer to thicken.
- Stir in honey.
- Add tofu and fruit, cook for 10 more minutes.
- Garnish with poppyseeds.
