This recipe is effortless and the result was rather good. It makes a dry cornbread that would be good for stuffing or to have toasted with butter and jelly. I would probably add a pinch of salt next time, and maybe another tablespoon of maple syrup.

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. Grease muffin cups or a square pan.
  3. Put dry ingredients in one bowl, and mix them.
  4. Put oil and milk together, and add to dry.
  5. Stir til just moist.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes.
