Vegan Apple Cake

"I have a vegan grandson and he just loved this easy cake. It is handy for vegan friends."

ingredients

• 120 g margarine
• 400 g no-sugar-added apple pie filling
• 236.59 ml brown sugar
• 473.18 ml plain flour (all-purpose)
• 29.58 ml unsweetened cocoa
• 9.85 ml baking powder
• 4.92 ml bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)
• 4.92 ml mixed spice

directions

1. Melt the margarine.
2. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl.
3. Add the apple and margarine and mix well.
4. Bake in a greased and floured tin for approximately one and a quarter hours at 325 degrees F.
5. Time will depend on the depth of your tin and the type of oven.
6. For Vegan use Vegan margarine.
