This is an adaptation of awesome apple bread for vegans. I think it tastes awesome too!
Make and share this Vegan Apple Bread recipe from Food.com.
- Combine and set aside the first five ingredients.
- Sift flours, flax, cinnamon, soda, and salt. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients gradually.
- Blend in walnuts.
- Bake in 2 regular loaf pans or 3 foil loaf pans for 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees.
- Cool 10 minutes in the pan.
Delicious! I am not vegan, but this was very good, my kids and husband loved it! I didn't have any flax seed, but I used 2 Tbsp. wheat germ...not the same, I know but it still turned out great. Will definitely make again! Made for Spring PAC 2013.
