Twisted Guacamole

"A very simple and tasty guacamole."

• Ingredients: 8
• Yields: 2 cups

ingredients

• 3 avocados
• 1⁄2 bunch cilantro leaf
• 1⁄2 red onion, diced
• 3 fresh jalapeno chilies, finely chopped
• 2 tablespoons key lime juice
• 1 tablespoon tequila
• salt
• pepper

directions

1. Peel and seed avocado.
2. Mash avocado in a bowl with fork.
3. Add other ingredients, mash to mix.
4. Serve with tortilla chips.

This was good guacamole and simple to make. I love guacamole and really liked the addition of tequila, but I missed some of the other flavors that I normally add to my guacamole like garlic and cumin.

I loved this guac! After all, it does have a combination of the best guac ingredients around, cilantro, fresh lime and jalapeno's! I reduced the serving to 2/3 cup since I just had one avocado and that seemed to work out very well. I sampled a little after adding the salt and didn't think that it needed any pepper, so I did leave that out. Served with baked chips. Made for PRMR tag.

We really enjoyed this, and we aren't even really guacamole people! I especially liked the lime in it, and we also used Jose Cuervo Lime. The red onion and cilantro went very well with the rest of the flavors. Definately a keeper!
