- 2 pork chops (bone-in)
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1⁄2 fennel bulb (Chopped)
- 2 -4 tablespoons treacle
directions
- Heat Olive Oil in a non-stick frying pan till warm add the chopped fennel and fry to infuse the oil with the flavor.
- Remove the fennel and set aside.
- Add the pork chops and sear both sides. Then turn down the heat to low and put 1-2 Tbs. of the Treacle on pork chop. Flip and add the same amount of Treacle on this side. Cover and let simmer about 20-30 minutes until pork chops are done. (If you don't have a cover for your pan a piece of tin foil will do.).
- When the pork chops are done remove to rest on a plate, turn the heat up to med-high and add the fennel. Cook down to a sauce, stirring constantly. Serve over the pork chops immediately.
