- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1⁄2 cup onion, chopped
- 1⁄3 cup celery, chopped
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of celery soup
- 1 (32 ounce) bag frozen tater tots (use half the bag)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- salt
- pepper
directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Brown ground beef, onion, and celery. Drain. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour ground beef mixture into 8" round casserole dish. Spread soup over top of beef mixture. Top with tater tots.
- Bake 40 minutes uncovered. Remove from oven and top with shredded cheese. Bake 5 minutes more or until cheese melts.
