Tasty Peas

"I made some changes to this recipe I found on the 'net, making it easier to prepare, without losing any of the taste. Minced Onion and garlic are sauteed in olive oil, then the peas are simmer in chicken broth. I expected the kids to groan, but they liked it."

  1. Loved this simple way to jazz up peas, even little miss DD ate hers up, will make this often, thanks!

  2. A good recipe to enhance the flavor of peas. I used regular onion (1/8 of a cup or so) but think that I added to much and will cut down the amount that I use next time.

  3. I chose to make this dish for the Chef Dee's Cook-A-Thon. We loved the flavors in this recipe. A great recipe to try and very easy to make. I chose to put this recipe with Recipe #156204

  4. Nice and easy recipe. I used the frozen peas as stated and 1 chicken bouillon cube with 1/2c water. I also added a tsp. of bacon grease for alittle more extra flavor and some kosher salt. Halved the recipe since it was the 2 of us here at home. We enjoyed these peas with recipe#42401 and recipe#110416. Was a delicious dinner. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

  5. I made a nice dinner on Sunday, and these went really well with our menu. I loved the addition of the onion and garlic, and will make them again for sure as my DH and I really loved them and so did my company.
