  1. I made it for DH. He found it a bit too lemony. So next time I'll reduce the lemon juice. He liked the chili powder and the mint in it. Thanks JoyfulCook :) Made for Ramadan tag game

  2. Nice and fresh tasting, although it was a bit too acidic with nothing to counter the lemon juice. So I just added 1 tsp. of sugar to balance. I had a mixture of yellow and red tomatoes from our garden, and added some chopped cucumber for crunch! Thanks for a nice summer salad recipe! Will make again, with the little adjustments.

  3. Russ and I both loved this thanks Joy. I took note of the other reviews and made the dressing with 2/3 of the lemon-after tasting it, I added in the rest!! I think the secret to this delicious salad is good tomatoes (mine were beauties bought at the farm gate), and maybe a little more salt than a pinch (I'd guess I used about half a teaspoon)-it seems to work well with the chilli and lemon and lift them both. I added a pinch of sugar to it too.

  4. I love tomato salads and it was very tasty. I used all the ingredients stated however I added a pinch chilli powder only because Little Miss (DD) wanted to eat some. This dish was quick to make and very refreshing to eat. Thank you JoyfulCook
