  • Mix pineapple, sugar, flour, egg and vinegar in medium saucepan.
  • Cook over medium heat until thickened.
  • Refrigerate 3-4 hours, or overnight.
  • Mix together apples, nuts, Cool Whip.
  • Fold in refrigerated mixture. Top with additional nuts if desired.
