This is a deliciously, wonderfully, yummy, soup. My family loves it. Taste even better the next day. TRY THIS!
- 2 lbs hamburger
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 package ranch dressing mix
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 3 cups water
- 1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 can ranch style bean
- 2 (4 ounce) cans green chilies
- Brown the hamburger with the onion and bell pepper.
- Add the remaining ingredients.
- Cook for 45 minutes, add more water if needed.
- Add beans.
- serve with Tostitos.
This was tasty. A little spicy for my little ones. I really enjoy the ranch style beans so next time I would probably put two cans of beans in and only 1 pd of hamburger.
Good Soup. My husband made it and panicked because he added all the ingredients (including beans) like the recipe said and then noticed later it said add beans. I know that it's no big deal but he was scared he had messed it up. As far as the beans go... I would probably also add 2 cans next time as katheleen Talbot mentioned. Thanks.
This soup was very good but I did add pasta because my BH does not like tortilla chips so i just thought that I would add something a little different for him. I also added cheese which was wonderful. I will be making this again but the next time I think that I will add some melted mexican cheese to the top along with some cilantro. This soup would even be good topped with amybe a little sour cream. Thank you for the great recipe.
