  1. I started this recipe on the stove top, browned the beef and onions and then transferred it to a crock pot. After 6 hours dinner was ready, the whole house smelled like an Italian Restaurant. I served it on spiral pasta; this is a delicious, stick to your ribs stew and sooo convenient! I did sub mushrooms for the green peppers. Made and reviewed for the MizzNezz cookathon. Get well soon, MizzNezz!

  2. I tried this and the recipe was excellent. My husband and 8 year loved the steak. It was so tender you did not have to use a knife to cut it. I used sirlion steak. I also added 1 cup of beef bullion to the pan for simmering. It added more flover and gave more gravy for the noodles. Probably the best Swiss Steak I ever had.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
