Sundae Brownie Pie

"Easy pie to make and it is always a hit at company functions. Everybody always asks me for the recipe once they have tried it."

• Yields: 1 pie
• Serves: 8-12

ingredients

• 1 (9 inch) pie shells
• 2 large eggs
• 1 cup sugar
• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 1⁄2 cup all-purpose flour
• 1⁄3 cup cocoa
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1⁄2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1⁄2 cup nuts (I prefer either walnuts or pecans)

directions

1. Bake frozen pie crust as directed beforehand. Mix together the first seven ingredients. Stir in the chips and nuts and pour in pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

This was rich and tasty. I made without the nuts and served with a little vanilla ice cream. Best served warm.
