  • Pour strawberries and sugar into a large pot.
  • Stir and let sit for 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Bring to a boil for 3 minutes.
  • Add vinegar and cook for 6 more minutes.
  • Skim off foam.
  • Let sit for up to 48 hours before putting into jars, stirring occasionally.
