Strawberry Cake

"This is a very moist cake. I don't really know where the recipe came from,I think someone at work gave me the recipe years ago."

• Serves: 8-10

ingredients

• 1 box white cake mix
• 1 (3 ounce) box strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
• 1 (10 ounce) box frozen strawberries
• 1⁄3 cup oil
• 3⁄4 cup water
• 3 eggs

• Frosting

• 1⁄4 cup butter
• 1 box powdered sugar
• 1 (10 ounce) box frozen strawberries

directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix all ingredients in mixing bowl.
3. Beat for 3 minutes or until mixed.
4. Pour batter into a 13 x 9 pan.
5. Bake for 35 minutes or until done.
6. Cool completely before frosting.

The recipe did not give instructions on preparing the icing, only the ingredients for it. The icing is the hardest part, you have to gradually mix the strawberry juice in.

I made this for a baby shower and used cream cheese frosting on it and everyone loved it.
