VERY GOOD! I also doubled the recipe. I used London Broil (on sale for $1.99/lb) and had the butcher slice it for me, then sprinkled with some peppery steak seasoning mix. I added some water to the pan when the meat was done and had a tasty broth/gravy for the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. I plan on making the topping (mushroom/parsley etc) for other meats. I bet it would be great on grilled chicken, pork chops, maybe even shrimp!

Very good. I made this by the recipe except that I doubled the sauce and since I had very large mushrooms, after thinly slicing them, I cut them up a little more. We ate the extra sauce over mashed potatoes and it was very, very good. Had a great flavor. I will be adding this to my recipes to be making again and again. Khandi

I am not a very interesting person. I like to cook, I like to eat, and I love my husband Rick and my son Hugh. Thats pretty much it when it comes to me, that and an obsession for cats, especially our 2, Bunny & Bindy Sue. We live in Lake Dallas, TX, and have been married since August 16th, 2003. Hugh was born October 19th, 2009. Rick and I met on the internet in September 2001, and when we were married I moved from NJ where I grew up, to the big, scary, strange city of Dallas. There are things I like about Dallas and things I don't. I am definitely homesick for some real NY style pizza.
