  1. This is my family's go to salad. My mom and brother prefer mandarin oranges, I prefer fresh ones, either way it's good. I agree with the other reviewer, raspberry dressing is amazing with this.

  2. Simple and tasty! To switch it up try mango slices and raspberry dressing, instead of oranges and French. :)

  3. Nice refreshing ingredients in this super salad paired with a tangy French Dressing is a classic. I used Recipe #27152 for the dressing. I really loved the combinations. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

  4. Quick and easy but full of flavor. I added walnuts and dried cranberries. My husband now prefers this home made version over the California Salad at O'Charlies.

  5. This Salad is seriously tasty and even my boyfriend, who hates vegetables, loved it! I added Feta Cheese for some added flavor and with the chilli vinaigrette recipe, also found on this site, and some chunky bread, one of the best dinners i've had in a long time! Thanks!

  1. I love this salad, but instead of french I use a poppy seed dressing and add sharp cheddar or a hard boiled egg for a little something extra

I live in a small (but growing to be very large) town in Oklahoma. I am currently a student, studying library science. I like to cook and eat, play the piano and violin, and train and play with my two dogs. I don't have a single favorite cookbook, but of the ones I use, I like BHG the most. Their recipes are usually very good. I would say my passion is learning new things--and traveling to new places. I also enjoy writing fiction. Some of my pet peeves are: 99% of the drivers in Oklahoma; people who don't take good care of their pets; people with NO TASTE; intellectual psychobabble nonsense; boring people; the list goes on forever!
