Spicy Pot Sticker Stew

ingredients

• 6 cups water
• 1 chicken bouillon cube
• 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
• 2 boneless chicken breasts, cubed
• 1⁄4 cup uncooked rice
• 1⁄4 cup quick-cooking barley
• 1⁄4 cup red bell pepper, julienned
• 1⁄4 cup yellow bell pepper
• 1⁄4 cup green bell pepper
• 1 cup frozen petit green beans
• 1⁄4 cup onion, chopped
• 1 carrot, julienned
• 3 garlic cloves, diced
• 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
• 1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (to taste)
• 1 (16 ounce) package frozen pot stickers, any variety
• 1 cup spinach

directions

1. 1. Boil all ingredients except potstickers together on medium heat in a medium sized sauce pan until rice is tender.
2. 2. Add potstickers and the spinach and return to boil for three minutes. Don't let potstickers overcook - the stew is ready when potstickers are soft.
