  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Add sugar, salt, cheese, seasoning, oil and flour.
  3. Stir & add additional flour as needed to form a soft dough.
  4. Turn onto a floured surface & knead until smooth & elastic.
  5. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease all sides of dough.
  6. Cover & let rise until double.
  7. Punch down and turn onto floured surface.
  8. Shape into loaf & place in a greased 5x9x3" loaf pan.
  9. Cover & let rise until double.
  10. Bake @350 (preheated) for 35-40 minutes.
  11. Cooking time includes the rising of the dough.

This bread was great for dipping in olive oil. It was seasoned just right. It would probably make a beautiful garlic bread too...but it didn't last long enough here.

Fabulous bread! My hubby said this was a perfect bread. We loved it!! I used Recipe #63812 since I keep this on hand at all times now. The bread rose perfectly. I didn't have no problems at all. I used to be scared to work with yeast but not anymore. I used to rely on my bread machine to do the work, but now I can do it!! :) Made for the "Flour Power" Challenge in April 2008 Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!!
