These cookies are not too sweet and are quick and easy to make. They look nice on your holiday table. My Grandmother got this recipe from her neighbor and asked that I make them for her each Christmas. The rest is history!
- 118.29 ml butter
- 29.58 ml sugar
- 4.92 ml vanilla
- 177.44 ml chopped pecans
- 236.59 ml flour
- 1.23 ml salt (or less)
- powdered sugar, reserved
- Cream butter until light.
- Add all other ingredients, except the powdered sugar.
- Mix well.
- Shape into 1" balls and place on a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees 15 minutes.
- (These should be light in color. Do not brown!) Cool and roll in powdered sugar.
These cookies are great!! I added a little food coloring to the mixture, and rolled them in granulated sugar, so that they "glittered"!! thanks ..
