well I had dinner dishes all done when our teenager said mom, can you make some snow ice cream? I said what? he said I found a recipe on recipezaar for you :) How cool he was on his pc using zaar. I am almost 50 and never had snow ice cream, this stuff was awesome. It started to melt kind of quickly but I put it in the freezer. Thank you strawberryjane for a wonderful recipe that will be made again..But I am hoping for spring so if it doesn't snow anymore this year then next year!! :) Great recipe!

Boy do I miss snow ice cream! We used to make this all the time in Colorado, only not as fancy. We just used vanilla and sugar. I wish I'd had this recipe when I was a kid, this is much better. Unfortunately I live in South Georgia now so no snow ice cream for me :( I'll have to take this recipe with me when I go back to Colorado to visit my parents if I'm lucky enough to get up there during the winter. Thanks for sharing :)
