Simple Fudge

READY IN: 10mins
Recipe by Boddicea

I originally got a version of this fudge off this site, but when I came back to add it to my cookbook after I finally got around to trying it, the recipe was gone. It's one of the simplest recipes! I made 2 batches of this one with dark chocolate and one with white chocolate (since I'm weird and don't like dark chocolate). They both turned out great! Variations: You can use different types of chips (white chocolate, butterscotch, etc), flavorings (mint extract instead of vanilla) and also add toppings and mix-ins such as nuts and candies.

So easy to make, for sure, & some of the smoothest, tastiest fudge I've had! The recipe is definitely a keeper! Thanks for sharing it! [Made & reviewed for one of my adopted chefs in this Spring's Pick A Chef event]

  1. Line the bottom and sides of an 8x8 pan with parchment or wax paper or aluminum foil.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Microwave for 3-6 minutes until chips are melted. You will probably want to stop the microwave once or twice to stir the mixture.
  4. Add vanilla and salt, and stir to combine.
  5. Pour into your pan.
  6. Cool in your fridge for an hour.
  7. Cut into 1 inches squares.
