I made this recipe as a kid due to the huge blackberry patch my grandparents had in their backyard

- In a saucepan add blackberries, cream,wine one cup of the sugar, the extract and spices and bring to a boil. reduce heat and simmer until reduced, stirring often.
- Pour berries unto bottom of a greased casserole dish.
- Mix together remaining cup of sugar with flour and milk and spread over top of berry mixture.
- Bake for 1 hour on 400 degrees or until bubbly and top is golden brown.
