I love a good down-to-earth chunky guacamole, but sometimes I want to dress it up a bit with a smooth, creamy consistency.
- 3 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 3 tablespoons onions, minced
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1⁄4 cup cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1⁄4 cup sour cream
- salt and pepper, to taste
- Puree avocado in a food processor.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix until smooth and uniform.
- Season to taste.
