This comes from several cookbooks by Sue Gregg. She cooks healthier and uses this in place of ground beef. It makes the ground turkey more flavorful. Use this in place of any ground beef recipe.
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1⁄8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1⁄8 teaspoon thyme
- 1⁄8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄8 teaspoon sage
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce or 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup or 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- Mix all together thoroughly and brown in skillet, being careful not to over cook (cooks faster than ground beef); drain off any excess fat.
