  • Heat oil in a skillet.
  • Add shallots. Saute 3 minutes.
  • Add vinegar. Reduce to a glaze.
  • Add the cloves, nutmeg and scallops. Cook 1-2 minutes or until scallops are just opaque.
  • Season.
  • Stir in herbs. Serve immediately.
