  2. Add shallots. Saute 3 minutes.
  3. Add vinegar. Reduce to a glaze.
  4. Add the cloves, nutmeg and scallops. Cook 1-2 minutes or until scallops are just opaque.
  5. Season.
  6. Stir in herbs. Serve immediately.
