Quick prep time, and a flavorful fall/winter soup.
- 2 (14 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
- 2 cups sauerkraut
- 1 cup diced potato
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1⁄3 cup brown sugar
- Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.
- Cover, and cook 4-6 hours, or until the flavors have blended and the soup is thoroughly heated.
Good comfort food. Tagged in everyday forum and so glad I did. Nice combination of flavors, we will cut back on the tomatoes next time. Just person taste. Thanks for sharing.
