Sauce for Chicken and Ribs

"I had some chicken out the other day for supper, and sick of the same old, same old, I concocted this recipe. I think with grilling season coming up, this would be wonderful for basting chicken or ribs with. I used a commercial BBQ sauce, but if you have a good homemade that you prefer, that would work fine."

ingredients

• 1 cup barbecue sauce
• 1⁄4 cup tequila
• 1 teaspoon lime juice
• 1 garlic clove, crushed
• 1⁄2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
• 2 teaspoons grape jelly

directions

1. Whisk all ingredients together and baste over chicken or ribs during grilling.
