    This recipe is a part of summer for me. My grandma gave the recipe to my mom, and my mom to me, but not sure where grandma got it. This is just the recipe for the veggies (salad) on top of the hamburger. I haven't tried it on Chicken or Turkey burgers, but I can imagine it'd be really good, too. Remember the veggies need to marinate for a few hours! The cucumbers need to be sliced insanely thin, so they pick up the marinade in a few hours. Fantastic on barbecued hamburgers. (cooking time is marinading time)

    Directions:

      Mix vinegar, water, salt, pepper and sugar together.

      Stir in vegetables.

      Refrigerate 1-2 hours.
