A yummy hearty dish I make quite often and is a hit with my family.
- 2 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 1 1⁄2 lbs smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 cup rice, uncooked
- 1 large onion, chopped
- salt and pepper
- Mix all in covered baking dish. Cover and cook at 350 for 1- 1/2 hour or until rice is tender.
