  • After mincing or processing the onion and garlic, pour off any excess liquid; thoroughly mix all the ingredients except the walnuts or crackers; shape into 1" balls and roll the balls in the chopped walnuts or crushed crackers.
  • Chill for at least 2 hours.
  • Enjoy with drinks and friends.

  1. Wow! I had no idea why I was skeptical at first, but these are great! If you are planning to serve these for company, you will want to double the recipe. I got 11 balls from following the recipe, but trust me, people will scarf these down as fast as you can put them out. Thanks for a keeper!

July 2008 update: VERY happy to be back on Zaar after about a two year absence due to having had no internet connection at home, and having been too unwell for a time so that getting re-connected wasn't even a priority! <br> <br>And really looking forward to getting back into the Zaar world and connecting again with the many wonderful people I knew before, and new people, of course!
