1. The saltiness of the nuts with the sweetness of the dried fruits and chocolate chips is the perfect balance for a great snack! I used unsweetened shredded coconut but if you like your snacks sweeter, you can try the sweetened. This makes a lot and has been nibbled on constantly since I made it! Made for ZWT7. Thanks Debbwl! :)

 2. What a nice snack this made! I didn't have the dried banana so added extra dried pineapple. Yummy. Thanks! Made for ZWT#7-South Pacific.

 3. Yummy tropical trail mix! I toasted the macademia nuts before adding them for an extra punch of flavor. Delicious! Made for ZWT 7.

 4. These were real good! I did a combination of dried bananas and chocolate covered dried bananas. These were just delicious to snack on!

 5. Wow, this is super yummy! It is sweet, nutty, chocolaty and just plain addictive! Mmm!
I used dried mango as I could not find dried pineapple and I think next time Ill use flaked coconut instead of desiccated. Also I used roasted salted macadamias, which were a great contrast to the sweet fruit. Mmmmm!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this great recipe with us, Debbie!
Made and reviewed for Newest Zaar Tag February 2011.
