  1. What a great recipe that I will use over & over again. I did exactly what the recipe called for except I just added 1 fresh tomatoe chopped up!

  2. This was good but I thought it needed a little extra flavor boost so I added some taco seasoning mix. I'm giving it 5 stars anyway because I'm pretty sure it's my own fault for not having any cilantro or a jalapeno - sorry for messing with it! However, this was the perfect rescue for an enchilada recipe I was making for dinner tonight that called for salsa since I didn't have any on hand.

  3. Quick & easy & good. My husband liked it too. I did leave out the cilantro. Thanks! Reviewed for Healthy Choices ABC tag.

  4. I LOVE how quick and fresh-tasting this is, and especially that it makes a reasonable amount that DH and I can consume within a few days, instead of the quarts or gallons that some other recipes produce. Thanks!

  5. Quick and easy is a great description but you left out great taste. I used a whole red onion and two jalapeno. Sure beats the bought stuff!!

I was raised in SoCal and currently live in Las Vegas I am a licensed veterinary technician as well as a registered nurse. I grew up in my parents restaurant, so I learned to cook by watching and doing. No recipes, just what the basic ingredients were. I cooked for a while during my teen years and got to make my own creations which was fun, but left the business in '93..many fond memories still remain. I am mom to a wonderful 12 year old daughter who shares my love of cooking, although her tastes run to the exotic (at least for most 12 year olds I know). She loves Japanese, Chinese and and Thai food. Her favorites are Jellyfish and sushi.
