ingredients
- 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon white sugar (more or less, or can omit)
- 3⁄4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 -2 tablespoon powdered milk (I used soy)
- 2 tablespoons wheat germ (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cream of wheat (optional)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 egg
-
Optional Toppings
- garlic powder (NOT salt, good for flea control)
- chow mein noodles (only a few though)
- noodles or bits meat
- nuts (whatever you have on hand)
- dog food (moist or dry)
- bacon bits (mine are made with soy beans)
directions
- Add all the dry ingredients to a medium sized bowl. Mix well.
- Then add all the wet ingredients. Mix well.
- Split the mixture into four or five pudding cups or applesauce cups. Only fill about 2/3 full as they do puff up.
- Add in any toppings. Push the toppings into the batter slightly.
- Place on a small plate.
- Put in microwave and cook on high for one or two minutes.
- Let cool.
- Serve to your pooch, cup and all. They will have fun chewing the goodies out.
- I let them have the cups for a few days and then throw them out and start all over.
- Can be used in the same style as a Kong.
- I give them to my dogs when I have company over. Helps prevent the muddy foot handshake!
