- 9 cups pears, chopped
- 6 cups sugar
- 1 lemon, juice of
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
directions
- In a large pot, put the pears, sugar and lemon juice, bring to a boil and cook until thickened, stirring occasionally.
- Add the pineapple and cook for 30 more minutes.
- Put in sterilized jars and seal.
