"old on stove top no bake cookie that uses corn flakes"

• Ingredients: 4
• Serves: 10

ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup sugar
• 1⁄2 cup corn syrup
• 1 cup peanut butter
• 2 cups corn flakes

directions

1. heat but dont boil the syrup and sugar
2. add peanut butter
3. mixture will be thick and it scorches easily
4. add corn flakes
5. will be a little hard to mix in flakes but when cool sets up great
6. drop on greased wax paper
7. do not bake.

Well it can't get much simpler than this. I received 32 cookies (using a small scoop) after I was done. I have not used a corn cereal in a non-bake cookie before and think this recipe would be great using puffed rice cereal too (like Rice Krispies). On about twelve cookies I topped them with some miniature chocolate chips just for fun and give it a twist in flavor. Great for lunches and for those times that you need a quick cookie without a lot of fuss. Tagged and made for Went to the Market tag game.
