Spread peanut butter on one slice of toast.

Top peanut butter with sliced bacon and remaining piece of toast.

I grew up on this recipe! Talk about comfort food :) I will admit I used to use more than 2 slices of bacon. Nowadays, I use Hormels bacon bits. Thanks for posting so others can enjoy.

PB and B sandwiches are DELICIOUS! When we were kids Mom would regularly make them for us to carry to the bus stop. Sounds weird, but they're a part of my childhood and it's really a fantastic combo especially with thick-cut bacon. Don't knock it until you've tried it. PS...another "weird" thing from my childhood in SE MO is the school lunch ladies always served us PB sandwiches on Chili days. Dip your sammy in the chili. FAB!!

I use crunch peanut butter. It's gooooood. little mayo as well sometimes.
