    Ridgely's Note:

This is a great recipe from chef Paula Deen. The smell alone of this roast cooking will drive you crazy. The meat is tender and very tasty. Excellent!

I have this recipe and love it!!! I always make mine in the crockpot and cook on low 8-10 hours. The meat is so tender it just shreds apart, so I add in my favorite bbq sauce and have pulled pork sandwhiches out of it! Great to make for a crowd!!!

Made this in my outdoor smoker. The meat was tender and had a great smoky flavor that my family enjoyed. We love our butt cooked this way and may introduce it to our customers soon!
