Oven-Fried Summer Squash

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 6 summer squash or 6 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Dip the squash slices in water. Dredge in bread crumbs.
  3. Place breaded squash slices on an oiled baking sheet and bake for 10-20 minutes, until done.

This was okay but was lacking in flavor. If I try it again I'll add seasonings to the bread crumbs and use milk and egg instead of just water. Thanks for sharing. Made for PAC 2011.
